May 19--Lewis and Clark celebration

On Saturday, we went to Old St. Charles for their Lewis and Clark celebration. Wandering the streets were many dressed in period costume and acting "in character". We ate our picnic lunch on the banks of the Missouri River then walked through Main Street.

Addison enjoyed the Maypole dance.

May 18--First visit to the park

On the weekend when we were supposed to go camping but didn't since Addison started teething (more on that later), we visited the park a few blocks from our house. Having been born in late September meant that we had to wait until spring before visiting the park for the first time. We put Addison in the baby swing and she really seemed to enjoy it!

May 12--Mother/Daughter Banquet

Addison and I got all dressed up for the Mother/Daughter Banquet at church in celebration of Mother's Day!

May 11--Walking outside

Even though she is now crawling and can get around herself, she still really likes to practice walking by holding our hands. Aaron took Addison for a walk in the front yard.

May 10--Crawling!!

Addison started crawling! We had to entice her to move across the floor with some toys at first, but soon she was crawling everywhere!

And what's a good crawling session if not followed by a manicure? Clipping her nails is getting harder as she wants to have everything you have!

April 22--Standing up

Addison figured out how to pull herself up to the standing position in her crib. Time to lower the mattress! And just like her daddy, she will be leaving bite marks on the crib rails!

April 12--Enjoying sweet potatoes

Addison expanding her solid food repertoire.

April 11--Getting ready...
