Yummy toes

After her bath, Addison thought her toes were good enough to eat!

Happy Easter!

Addison looked so cute in her Easter dress!

She also enjoyed her Easter basket, which had goodies for her and Mom and Dad from the Easter Bunny. She really liked playing with the Pez and the wrapped candies because they made so much noise!

Kissing cousins

...not quite, since Cousin Samuel didn't want to be too close to Addison since she was a girl! We asked Samuel to hug Addison, but he wouldn't put his arm around her. Hopefully in a few years they will be more willing to play with each other.

Starting solid food

With Addison turning six months old, we got to start feeding her solid foods. She started with rice cereal, and has diversified by eating multi-grain and oatmeal cereals as well. Very soon we will start on the yellow vegetables--carrots, squash and sweet potatoes!

Don't be fooled; Addison is normally not this happy to be eating. Some of the time, we are lucky to get two spoonfuls in her mouth! I hope that she will more eagerly eat the foods with more flavor!

Addison says Yay for summer clothes!

Addison's Half Birthday

Six months already! Fortunately, it was a warm day so we were able to get some spring pictures outside.
In Kansas City, we celebrated with a cake made by Kristen.

Parent/Child Dedication

Two Sundays before Easter, we had Parent/Child Dedication at our church. Addison behaved very well on stage, yelling out only twice!

It's true what they say...

...about how a child will enjoy the box more than the toy. Addison really enjoyed playing with the wrappings her Easter basket came in!
